These bred heifers (Lots 1065 to 1069 and 1171) from Aldridge Cattle are F1 Angus-Brahman and commercial Brangus. They are bred to a homozygous black, homozygous halfblood SimAngus bull from the Next Step genetic program. J812 (ASA 3964677) has plenty of growth and is in the top 10% of the Simmental breed for both milk and marbling. He is in the top 20% of the breed for the API index and top 10% of the breed for the TI index. He will produce both quality replacement females and feeder calves.
Heifers were exposed to J812 from 2/2/2025 to June 30, 2025. Lots 1065, 1066 and 1067 are the F1 Angus-Brahman heifers. They will calve between the end of November and the middle of January. Lots 1068, 1069 and 1171 are the commercial Brangus heifers. They will calve between the end of December and the middle of February. |
