The Auburn University Beef Teaching Unit is offering 4 bred heifers that are out of the heart of their replacement heifer pen. Two heifers are registered Angus and 2 heifers are registered SimAngus. All heifers have been bred AI as well as exposed to a cleanup up bull.

Angus Heifer Registration Numbers:
Lot 41: AAA 21246809 AI bred to Yon County Road H1389 on 11/20/25 and exposed to AUBT Broad Range L06, a 50% Angus 50% Simmental bull, from 12/15/2025 to 2/15/2025. She has been called safe in calf to the AI bull. Lot 41 is a SAV Cattlemen 4873 x Coleman Charlo 0256 granddaughter. Due to calve August 29th based on AI date.

Lot 42: AAA 21246799 AI bred to Yon Country Road H1389 on 11/20/25 and exposed to AUBT Broad Range L06, a 50% Angus 50% Simmental bull, from 12/15/2025 to 2/15/2025. She has been called safe in calf to AUBT Broad Range L06. Lot 42 is a SAV Cattlemen 4873 x S A V Extension 6856 granddaughter. Due to calve in mid-September.

SimAngus Heifer Registration Numbers:
Lot 43: ASA 4540531 is a 7/8 Angus and 1/8 Simmental heifer. She is a Coleman Charlo 0256 x Connealy Black Granite granddaughter. AI bred to Yon Country Road H1389 on 11/20/25 and exposed to AUBT Broad Range L06, a 50% Angus 50% Simmental bull, from 12/15/2025 to 2/15/2025. Lot 43 has been called safe in calf to AUBT Broad Range L06. Due to calve in early October.

Lot 44: ASA 4540733 is a 75% Angus 25% Speckled Park heifer. What is a Speckled Park you ask? 
The Speckle Park was developed in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan beginning in 1959, by crossbreeding Angus and Shorthorn breeds. The spotted or speckled pattern for which it is named derived from a single bull with the color pointed markings of a British White Park. Lot 44 is solid black.
