These heifers are the top 15 replacement heifers from the 2020-21 heifer calf crop out of 80 heifers born. They are deep, structurally correct and sound footed. They are as gentle as they come and uniform. They will be part of your herd for years to come.

All heifers are registered. Twelve of the heifers are purebred Santa Gertrudis. Heifers J16, J17, J18, J21, J23 and J24 are half sibs and all sired by CB Heavy Duty 674. Heifers J61, J62, J68, J99 and J125 are half sibs and all sired by Creech 186-7. Heifer J44 is sired by Creech 179-4, which is a half sib to Creech 186-7.

Heifers J01, J02 and J19 are Star 5 females. Heifers J01 and J02 are sired out of Creech 100-4 and a Red Angus cow.  Creech 100-4 is the sire of Creech 179-4 and Creech 186-7. Heifer J19 is a 3/4 Santa Gertrudis and 1/4 Red Angus. Her sire is CB Duty 674, which makes her a half sib to the purebred Santa Gertrudis heifers also sired by him.

All heifers are bred to a Red Angus bull that will sire calves that should be born easily and excel in growth traits. These calves will qualify for the American Red program.

The American Red cattle program is an opportunity offered by Santa Gertrudis Breeders International and American Red Angus Association. To qualify for the American Red commercial cattle program and accompanying American Red tag, steers and heifers in the same calf crop must be sired by registered Red Angus bulls averaging in the top 50% of the breed for the Profitability and Sustainability index (ProS) or registered Santa Gertrudis bulls averaging in the top 50 percentile for the SGBI Balanced Index*.  Bull 2E1 is in the 17% percentile for ProS. The goal of the American Red program is to provide commercial cattle producers quality replacement heifers and feeder cattle.

4S Farms is dedicated to produce quality beef. They are feeding their own cattle to market weight and harvesting them in their State Inspected Packing Plant in Geraldine, AL. Currently, they are supplying 4 school systems and 13 restaurants in north, Alabama.
