These fancy, home raised half plus Brahman cross heifers are the
kind you build a herd around. They were developed in north Georgia on quality forages and have the volume and capacity to thrive in any southern environment with plenty of muscle. The half-blood black heifers are bred to a Hereford bull purchased at Coveyset Farm in northwest Georgia. Non-black heifers were bred to a Sitz Upward 307R son, who is still in the top 25% of the Angus breed for yearling weight and ribeye area after siring over 25,000 progeny. Heifers were pasture exposed from December 1st through July 20th. |
