Cox Cattle and Produce is sending 6 commercial Spring Brangus pairs. 

Cox Cattle and Produce has raised their own heifers for the past 8 years. Their genetic base is Town Creek Brangus. They have implemented a whole herd AI program followed by cleanup bulls in a 75 day breeding season for the mature cows and 60 day breeding season for heifers. Females are culled if they do not calve in the front portion of the calving season or do not wean 50% of their body weight.

Their females are raised on grass and mineral during the summer and hay, cottonseed and mineral in the winter. Expect moderate framed, easy fleshing females with longevity and fertility bred in.

There are 4 steer calves (2 are AI) and 2 heifer calves on the side of the 1st calf heifers. All calves were born between 1/5 and 2/5/2023. Females have been exposed to a Brangus cleanup bull.
