Beeker Land, Cattle and Catfish have been developing Brahman and Brahman cross females for 25+ years. These cattle are known for both quality and longevity. Their breeding program is focused on fertility, growth and carcass. These females are full of hybrid vigor and will work anywhere in the deep south.
Beeker Land, Cattle and Catfish are offering 18 bred heifers that will be either half-bloods sired by Brahman bulls out of Hereford cows or half-blood plus females (Brahman sires x quarter blood cows). These females have brood-cow written all over with plenty of volume and substance of bone. All females were exposed to Red Angus bulls from March 1 to May 15, 2024. They were preg checked on September 5, 2024. All were 3.5 to 5 months pregnant, which puts them calving between January 1 and March 15, 2025. Red Angus service sire 013 is a solid bull that traces back to R.A. Brown genetics. Service sire 027 is a combination of Becton and R.A. Brown genetics and is in the top 15% for ProS and top 20% for Gridmaster economic indexes for the Red Angus breed. Service Sire 035W is a Grindstone son purchased from J-H Farms in the 2023 Fall Ball Sale. He is a calving ease bull that should sire fertile daughters with good milk and steers that will do well in the feedyard and on the rail (GM Index top 35% of the breed). |

Red Angus Sire 035W was purchased from J-H Ranch in the 2024 Blackbelt Cattle Marketing Fall Ball Sale. He is a calving ease, low birth weight bull that will produce very desirable calves in feedlots and on the rail and daughters with adequate milk with plenty of fertility.
