Registered Hereford Heifers
Meadowlake Farm is offering 6 paternal half-sib bred Hereford heifers that are moderately sized, structurally correct with plenty of rib shape.
These females are all sired by CSR 405D Provident 752E. This bull was bred by Sparks Ranch in north Alabama and they always felt this was the best bull they ever produced. He still ranks in the top 40% for calving ease and yearling weight EPD. 752E also ranks in the top 20% of the Hereford breed for weaning weight and ribeye area as well as the top 5% of the Hereford breed for udder and teat quality and marbling. Meadowlake Farm develops their heifers on high quality forages. After weaning they are moved to annual ryegrass pastures in late Fall until Spring. For the warmer months, they graze on crabgrass and Bermudagrass pastures. Meadowlake Farms is also offering 4 registered age-advantage Hereford bulls. All the bulls were hand raised and very gentle.
Bulls are also developed primarily on forage with supplementation. They travel up and down hills from the time they are born, which helps in their development process. Lot 220 is an EF Beef TFL U208 Tested X651 ET grandson. Tested is, one of the greatest carcass bulls in the Hereford breed. Lot 220 is dark red, smooth muscled and very correct. He is a calving ease, low birth weight specialist.

Lot 221 is another Tested grandson and his pedigree is filled with some of the greatest cows from the Meadowlake program. He is another calving ease, low birth weight specialist.

Lot 222 is a high growth, great carcass bull that will produce females with excellent udders and teat size. He was sired by CSR 405D Provident 752E. His dam, LeeLee, is a daughter of the Tommy Mead Heartland bull. Heartland is the sire of some of the best cows in the Meadowlake herd and LeeLee may be the best of the best. She never misses. Her son sold last year at the Fall Ball Sale for $4,750.
Lot 223 is another CSR 405D Provident 752 son that is high growth with excellent carcass, udder and teat genetics. His 11 year old dam is sired by the great Knoll Crest bull X51 and will calve her 9th calf by sale day. Lot 223's full sib sold for $4750 at the 2022 Fall Ball Sale.
