Nestled in a valley in north Alabama, Mountain View Farm is offering 3 SimAngus(TM) heifers. Two heifers are sired by the Simmental AI sire WS Proclamation E202 out of halfblood SimAngus(TM) cows, which makes them 3/4 Simmental 1/4 Angus. Proclamation is a CCR Cowboy Cut son and is known for producing feminine fronted females with plenty of rib shape and volume. The third heifer is sired by the SimAngus(TM) AI sire TJ Main Event 50B out of a halfblood SimAngus(TM) cow.

These 3 heifers were developed at the Sand Mountain Elite Heifer Development program. This program develops heifers on cool season winter annuals from January 2022 to June 2022. They then returned home and grazed on a summer annual mix and fescue.

At the Sand Mountain Heifer Development program, the heifers were AIed to Tex Playbook 5437 (Angus) on April 6, 2022. An Ultrablack(R) bull from Lake Majestik Farms was used as a cleanup bull from April 18 to June 21, 2022. All 3 heifers are confirmed pregnant to the Ultrablack(R) bull.

Calves are due beginning in late January through the end of February 2023.
